Fratton Park stadium was in need of a full PAVA system refresh, they got in contact with MSI following a recommendation from another club. With a budget to adhere to and the need for a reliable, intelligible system MSI took on the job and provided Portsmouth FC with an entirely new Bosch Praesideo system.

There were a number of challenges surrounding this project which, in less experienced hands, could have caused an issue or two. Fratton Park has stands built over a number of decades, meaning their system was not always fit for purpose. We managed to use some innovative acoustic design and both RCF and Community speakers to ensure the best solution for each stand.

The complex design considerations of this project and the complete replacement required were made more interesting by the fact we completed the work at the clients request in-season, but always ensuring zero game disruption occurred.

The client was extremely happy with our solution and continues to use MSI for the stadium maintenance.
